PENANG, I'll come again.

My experience to Penang was bittersweet. The early four days that I stayed in Penang was wonderful.

I was already punked on the first day by Abu and Farhana, saying that they were at the mainland airport and not at the airport that I landed. I was worried for troubling them by giving the wrong information to Abu, but as it turned out to be, I have been tricked. It was a good start and it ended good too.
We did so many activities, mainly they(Far and Abu)brought us to all this popular eateries, which did not help me at all with my diet. Then we managed to go to the beach twice, it was fun. Many gossips exchanged, haha but it only remained there. Then we also catched a movie, Mr. amd Mrs Smith. Did some shopping and also visited the botanical garden(Ira's idea).
On the last day, as we departed I was overwhelmed by a feeling of sadness. It's not like I will not meet them again but the whole thing was really liberating for me. It's not everyday that I get a chance to meet them in their hometown and get to hang out with them.
Though I know that Farhana and Abu was totally exausted of entertaining us endlessly, I would next time DEFINITELY invite myself again there, it was really cool..A big thank you from the bottom of my heart to Farhana and her family for having me over and to Abu who was patient enough to be our chaperon for 4 days consecutively.
Then the rest of the four days that I stayed in Penang was another experience altogether. Meeting up with the Malaysian team gave me a new perspective of things that I never knew before. I'm not sure whether to describe it as a painful or learning experience, but I guess, I have learned so much frm them pertaining to human relations and behaviour.
The post camp itself has taught me a lot of things that I am really grateful of.The experiences that I have gained throughout this past six months for all the three camps were invaluable, it has managed to make me think and perceive matters in a new and different perspective. I think I am now able to learn on how to think outside the box. It has changed me as person as a whole. Thanks to all, for all that you have done. Guess that's all for now.
TidBits:
1. Sarah drove on most of the outings that we went to, she has become accustomed to the wacky ways of Penang drivers.
2. Farhana's mum was really cool, not only that she never scolded us for waking up a bit teeny weeny late but she also cooks great food.
3. Far's sister, Fatin talks during her sleep and it has managed to scare Sarah to death, haha
4. Fajji,Far's sis was constantly fighting with Sarah during our stay.
5. Abu officially became our husband in penang, his wives are Farhana, me, Sarah and Fajjrina.
6.Many gossips were shared at the beach and all of it has remained in the sands forever.
7.We did a special sand sculpture dedicated to Kylie Minogue. Abu's was the best and he said his success was contributed to his highly imaginative mind.
8.Far's cousins An,and Ani were constantly laughing and they totally cheered up our day.
9. A transexual approached Abu wanting to offer his or her services on the night that we checked out the hotel that I was supposed to stay in during my camp. Did Abu decline??
10.Met nice people like Muna, Felicitha, Chia, Yoke Pin and Natasha in our camp.
11. Had an extremely bad stomache during the camp, it was due to food poisoning.
12. Learned some great facts on Penang especially about the inner city people of Penang.
13.Applied my horny jokes as usual throughout the whole visit
14.Spent a lot of money on pirated vcds and dvds, I am one of their very dedicated supporter in the business.
14. They even have a special shop for the pirated stuff. I asked Abu "How can they have a legal shop selling illegal stuffs?" Abu replied " it's Penang"
15. Learn to appreciate better and in all in all, it was a whole learning experience by staying a whole week in Penang. Hidup PENANG!!
